We value the opportunity to celebrate the hard work and success of our members through NASMAs Student Money Advice Awards. We believe that is important to recognise when our members go above and beyond, and excel in their roles, either individually or part of a wider team.
Within NASMA we regularly see the hard work and innovation that our members bring to their roles in the student money advice sector. We are proud of the efforts and enthusiasm that are on display in all corners of the UK, with sharing of best practice and supporting one another, being integral to the ethos of NASMA.
These awards, presented at the celebratory Gala Dinner each year as part of NASMAs Annual Conference, offer a great opportunity to celebrate our members achievements and end the academic year with praise and congratulations for amazing accomplishments.
The five NASMA Award categories are:
- Student Money Adviser of the Year (PDF)
- Andrew Perry Memorial Award: Fund Administrator of the Year (PDF)
- Team of the Year (PDF)
- Innovative Project (PDF)
- Region of the Year (PDF)
How to make a nomination:
Nominations will usually open around February, and close towards the end of April. Keep an eye on this webpage for updates and nomination forms and guidance.
Anyone can make a nomination – you do not have to be a NASMA member to nominate any individual or team for an award. Nominations are welcome and encouraged from students, teammates, peers in other institutions, sector colleagues, external organisations etc.
Nominees can be anyone registered as a NASMA member in the current membership year, either as an individual member, or as part of an educational membership. In the case of team nominations, at least one member of that operational team must be registered as a NASMA member in the current membership year. If you are not sure whether an individual or team are NASMA members, contact the NASMA Office via office@nasma.org.uk
We do not accept nominations for Region of the Year. Instead, all regions are considered for this award, and Regional Chairs will be contacted directly with the opportunity to provide supplementary information to be considered by the NASMA Office Team, who are the decision makers for this award.
